About Andrew Becquet
Andrew Becquet is an Australian entrepreneur, solo product builder and performance marketer based on the Gold Coast. He has been founding and scaling ventures since 2010, and hosts the Supercar Stories podcast.
The work
Andrew builds software products end to end, mobile and web, with a focus on the kind of clean, considered simplicity that gets out of the user’s way. Alongside the product work he runs a performance marketing practice: paid media across Meta and Google, attribution and analytics, conversion rate optimisation and funnel design, built to turn spend into predictable, repeatable revenue.
He also advises founders. Direct, hands-on guidance for people scaling product and growth at the same time, drawn from more than a decade and a half of operating: where to apply leverage, what to build next, and how to move fast with high confidence while keeping the long-term structure intact.
Motorsport
Racing is not a hobby that sits beside the work. It is the operating system behind it. A race is a data problem solved at speed: read the inputs, hold the line, brake later than feels comfortable, and trust the preparation.
That world is also where Andrew hosts Supercar Stories, a podcast on the cars, the operators and the business behind high performance motoring, with conversations about speed, discipline and building under pressure.
Operating principles
Prepare, then commit
The work is won before the start. Do the preparation obsessively, then act without hesitation when the moment comes.
Data over opinion
Read the inputs honestly. Attribution that tells the truth, decisions that follow the evidence, and no attachment to a plan the numbers no longer support.
Leverage everything
One sharp move beats ten busy ones. Find the point where a small, well-placed effort moves the whole system.
Composure under load
Fast when it counts, calm when the pressure comes on. The temperament that wins races is the temperament that ships companies.
